I want to be someone other than myself.

“According to Greek mythology, humans were originally created with four arms, four legs, and a head with two faces. Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate beings condemning them to spend their lives in search for their other halves.”

~Plato’s The Symposium.

How many times will I reblog this? “Always.”

I also learned in my Greek Mythology class this is the way homosexuality is explained too - that it didn’t matter what sex you were - some were a guy x girl fused together and split, some were man x man, some were woman x woman - and eventually they’d find their right partner.

It was beautiful.
